June 7, 2021
Applicants must be currently enrolled. This project entails 100 hours of paid work during the month of June and potentially early July.
The student research assistant will be helping complete three tasks:
The first one is to draft a guidance document for stakeholders that describes some best practices for how to report cost information in Habitat Conservation Plans (HCPs).
The second one is to perform analyses summarizing Endangered Species Act compliance cost data collected from HCPs and other tasks to support revisions to a publication.
The third task is to assist in developing training materials and videos about conservation costing.
We are particularly interested in applicants with good writing skills, attention to detail and interest in conservation decision support.
If you are interested, please contact Assistant Research Professor Gwen Iacona.
