Biography
Micah is a Ph.D. student at Kansas State University studying International Development, Technology Adoption, and Water Resources. His work and research are focused on forest management, especially community forestry and agroforestry. While living in Nepal, he examined forest resource access in an indigenous forest management program in the Annapurna region. He has worked extensively in Haiti using agroforestry methods to improve soil quality and crop yields, and more recently began a program of building stoves out of renewable materials.
