The Center for Biodiversity Outcomes has participated in a number of workshops aimed at improving the development and use of monitoring indicators for businesses interested in biodiversity. These include a series of workshops with the IUCN and Oxford University, designed to provide guidance for businesses on how to identify or develop robust and relevant monitoring indicators for different business applications. They also include the “Aligning biodiversity measures for business” workshop held by the United Nations Environment World Conservation Monitoring Center and the European Commission Business @ Biodiversity initiative.
