Biography

Megan is the research specialist for the Central Arizona-Phoenix Long-Term Ecological Research (CAP LTER) program. She received her MS at Sonoma State University in northern California where her thesis focused on understanding long-term shifts in forest community composition. Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, she worked as a field technician in Costa Rica where she oversaw operations and measurement of a long-term forest dynamics plot network. Megan now looks forward to her move out of tropical forests and into the urban ecosystem with CAP LTER.
