Biography

Jada Ach’s scholarship integrates American literature, land management history, queer theory, and infrastructure and maintenance studies. She is the author of Sand, Water, Salt: Managing the Elements in Literature of the American West, 1880-1925 (2021) and co-editor of Reading Aridity in Western American Literature (2020). At ASU, Ach teaches interdisciplinary and liberal studies courses on topics such as human-animal studies, science studies, and national parks.
