Biography

David Pijawka's areas of interest in sustainability include disaster mitigation and recovery, hazard and threat assessments, environmental behavior and perceptions, sustainability indicators, and energy studies. He has been involved in various community projects, including the evaluation of Scottsdale's Green Building program and workshops on Tribal community planning. He teaches Sustainable Cities and Planning for Sustainable Communities.
