Cinema Politica Free Film Screening:
The Edible City

Edible City introduces a diverse cast of extraordinary characters who are challenging the paradigm of our broken food system. The film digs deep into their unique perspectives and transformative work, finding inspirational, grass-roots solutions based on growing local food systems and economies.

Following the film there will be a discussion with School of Sustainability graduate student, Esteve Gaelle Giraud.

There is limited free parking at the Irish Cultural Center. Additional free parking is available on West Culver Street along the park. The Irish Cultural Center is conveniently located along the light rail, near the Roosevelt/Central Ave Light Rail Stop. Find additional instructions and maps for parking here.

We will be collecting food for Tempe Community Action Agency. Their high-need items are:
canned meat
canned fruit
canned meals
peanut butter
real fruit juice boxes


We will have free delicious Doc's Artisan Ice Creams popsicles for you to stay cool!
