Cinema Politica Free Film Screening:
The Hand That Feeds

The Hand That Feeds follows a shy sandwich-maker as he unites his undocumented immigrant coworkers to fight abusive conditions at a popular New York restaurant chain. The epic power struggle that ensues turns a single city block into a battlefield in America’s new wage wars.

Our post-film discussant will be Nicole Hale. She is on the frontlines of this subject and a community organizer from Living United for Change Arizona.

Watch the trailer here.

This film screening is the third and last film of the food series. New Cinema Politica Arizona Film Chapter is intended to generate a more in-depth conversation. Interested in joining the chapter? Email arizona@cinemapolitica.org
