Aaron Redman is a PhD student in the School of Sustainability at Arizona State University. He studies how individual attitudes, values and actions interact with policies and development interventions to modify the sustainability of the outcomes and the potential for long term success.
He has lived and worked in both Mexico and El Salvador in both places he remains actively involved in sustainability research and action. Aaron previously completed his Master's at the School of Sustainability in 2010 with a thesis titled: Transitioning Towards Sustainable Cooking Systems: with a case study of improved cookstoves in rural El Salvador. More recently Aaron has started a blog focused on discussing solutions for achieving sustainability.
Aaron helped lead the workshop that enabled Arizona State University’s Office of University Sustainability Practices and Facilities Management to collaborate with six graduate and 16 undergraduate students investigate how to create a sustainable food waste disposal system for ASU.
