Biography

Chase is an Arizona native, growing up in the Phoenix metro area and living in Arizona his entire life except for the two years he spent while serving a full-time mission in Japan. Chase completed an undergraduate degree in urban planning here at ASU in 2022. He also has a passion for sustainability and is hoping to integrate sustainability into his future designs and policies when working as a planner. His interest in sustainability led him to GLI, as he wanted experience in GIS while also gaining experience in the sustainability world. He has loved working to help different research endeavors and is excited to see what comes in the future! Although he has rarely moved, Chase loves to travel and has been to various places, including London, Montreal, and Jerusalem. He spent two years in Tokyo, serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loves studying Japanese and is working towards a minor in Japanese as well as sustainability. Some other hobbies include longboarding, film, and reading.
