Biography
Fanny is an undergraduate student majoring in Conservation Biology and Ecology with a minor in Spanish working as a research aide for the GLI Lab. Being a scholar at the UCSC Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program doing field research in different terrains solidified her interest in fieldwork, but biology being so broad, she finds it hard to choose one thing to study from the many options. Her primary interests are marine mammal ecology, ichthyology, and the impacts of climate change with relationship to the spread of invasive species one of the reasons for her interest in the GLI Lab.
