Biography

Stav Talal’s interest in insects’ life dates back to his childhood when he just tried to catch and play with grasshoppers and butterflies. Throughout the course of his studies and training he has been interested more and more in how insects work” and how insects are adapted to their environment. Talal was trained as an insect physiologist and considers himself an insect mechanic and electrician. Talal joined the Cease lab in order to study and understand the physiological mechanisms and processes that are involved in feeding, development, energy metabolism and excretion in locusts.
