13th International Congress of Orthopterology
The International Congress on Orthopterology is an interdisciplinary platform for the presentation of new advances and research results in all aspects of orthopterology. For the first time, the Congress will take place in Africa, under the sub-title "Challenges in front of Climatic and Environmental Changes." The Orthopterists’ Society hosts the conference, together with the IBN ZOHR University of Agadir and the National Center for Control of Desert Locust. More than 200 participants from five continents are expected in Morocco (in Agadir) for this large-scale scientific meeting.
The Global Locust Initiative will host a workshop at the event, to bring together collaborators to continue to build partnerships for locust research and management globally.
