Join us for a virtual book reading and discussion of Robin Wall Kimmerer’s Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants, published by Milkweed Books.
Author Robin Wall Kimmerer is a mother, scientist, decorated professor, and enrolled member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. She lives in Syracuse, New York, where she is a SUNY Distinguished Teaching Professor of Environmental Biology.
Co-hosted by Slow Food Phoenix, ASU Swette Center for Sustainable Food Systems, ASU Institute for Humanities Research, and ASU’s Food Justice Research Group.
