In March 2020, as businesses began to shut down and the PPE shortage became an urgent concern, fashion incubator FABRIC pivoted their work to manufacture safe and effective PPE that meets all FDA regulations. To date, they have sewn over 200K reusable isolation gowns that can be washed 100 times – the equivalent of 20 million gowns for the health care system.
