Kim Falinski
- Staff Scientist, The Nature Conservancy Hawaii/Palmyra
The Global Discovery and Conservation Science Seminar Series welcomes Kim Falinkski, an environmental engineer advising conservation projects in Hawaii and Palmyra Atoll, focusing on solutions to mitigating sediment, nutrients and pollutants from watersheds that affect coastal water quality.
In this talk, Falinkski will describe how data-collection methods inform coastal management and development in Maunalua Bay, O’ahu, and West Maui and how to best assess the efficacy of the coastal restoration efforts.
