Global Futures Earth Day Celebration
Each April, the world comes together to celebrate our home planet, Earth. First recognized on April 22, 1970, the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory now serves as the hub of activities at Arizona State University that honor Earth Day. This year, we will be celebrating Earth Day with a dynamic three-hour event that will include conversations and interactive experiences around water, decision making and the critical issues we all face now and into the future. Presentations include: Students Are Changemakers panel featuring Kyleigh Brown, Mauricio Juarez Leon and Jordan King, moderated by Lizzie Quigley Be a Decision Maker of Arizona's Energy Future - an interactive exercise powered by Decision Theater, allowing you to help determine Arizona's energy pathways Arizona's Water Future panel featuring Amber Wutich and Jay Famiglietti, moderated by Peter Schlosser Special Earth Day address speaker, Governor Katie Hobbs
