Water and Sustainability: 21st Century Realities

Hydrologist Jay Famiglietti is the Senior Water Scientist at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He and his team have been researching and communicating about water and climate change—in academics, business, government and to the general public—for over 25 years.
In this talk, Famiglietti will discuss his work using satellites and computer models to track freshwater avaialbility worldwide and to project the impacts of water availability on our water security.
Dessert and ice tea will be provided.
