Active in the environmental policy and legal arenas for the past 30 years, Kevin Daehnke is a champion of clean renewable energy, the environment, business and philanthropy. Kevin founded and serves as President of the "Center for Strategic Policy Innovation," a nationwide nonprofit entity, where he Chairs the Center's Renewable Energy/Smart Grid Buildout Initiative, a well-received effort to jumpstart renewable energy and microgrid projects across the country.
You are invited to join in for a conversation about Kevin’s career as an entrepreneur and attorney as well as his work that supports free market, public/private partnership and social impact-based solutions for renewable energy, economic growth and the environment. He is a firm believer in the vital importance of philanthropy and of the non-governmental organization (NGO) infrastructure of the United States, and is a strong proponent of social impact investing to create important economic and social change.
This Sustainability After School event is open to School of Sustainability students and alumni only. A light lunch will be provided.
