Dr. Falsetti received the BA, MA, and PhD degrees in Biological Anthropology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, TN. His post-doctoral training was completed at the State University of New York, Stony Brook, NY where he was a Post-Doctoral Associate in the Department of Evolution and Ecology. Anthony was an Associate Professor and Director at the University of Florida and Deputy Director in the Forensic Science Department, at the International Committee on Missing Persons prior to joining Arizona State University in 2015. At ASU, he is currently a faculty member in the School of Mathematical & Natural Sciences in the College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences.
Anthony is a Board Certified Forensic Anthropologist (ABFA) and is applying the latest research and technology in skeletal anatomy to the resolution of missing and unidentified persons worldwide. He is currently collaborating with colleagues at Phoenix Children’s Hospital using anonymized CT Scans to collect 3D data for purposes of establishing new aging standards and to improve our understanding of facial growth in sub-adults as well as examining the use of GIS-based methods to help resolve missing persons cases.
