Biography

Bryan Barker, manager of web and design, joined Arizona State University in 2009. In his role at ASU’s Global Institute of Sustainability, he supports the School of Sustainability and the diverse community of over 500 ASU Sustainability Scientists and Scholars. Across the pan-university commitment to sustainability, he enjoys the opportunity to champion ASU’s innovation and collaborate with a diverse range of colleagues.

As an accomplished leader, Bryan offers fifteen years of professional experience in all forms of digital and traditional media. Certified as a Project Management Professional by PMI, he manages and produces creative projects and IT solutions with a focus on continual process improvement. Employing a hands-on approach, he inspires a multi-talented team to create visually compelling programs that promote ASU’s sustainability impact at a global scale.

Bryan's background in teaching and mentoring foster his interest in lifelong learning. As an ASU alumnus, he holds a Master of Science degree in Visual Communications. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts from Pratt Institute and a Business Certificate from New York University, Stern School of Business.
