Biography

Greg Minnick is a natural resources and environmental management and forestry specialist with more than 35 years of experience in 18 countries across a broad range of ecological zones, from the Sahel in Western Africa to the humid tropics and semi-arid high valleys in Latin America. He has worked in forest management with community and indigenous groups and the private sector, compliance with USAID and national environmental regulations, artisanal gold mining issues, climate change mitigation. While working in biodiversity conservation, Mr. Minnick has promoted innovative market-led approaches to conservation, adoption of new practices, and leveraging of public and private investment.
