Biography

Marvie Javed is an environmental management specialist with five years of experience managing and implementing USAID-funded projects on entrepreneurship and enterprise development, environment and natural resources, and agriculture and food security. She has extensive field-based experience as an environmental compliance specialist, ensuring adherence of development projects to 22CFR216 and climate risk management regulations. Ms. Javed is currently the practice specialist for the Environmental and Natural Resources Practice at Chemonics International. She is originally from Pakistan, where began her career on the USAID FIRMS Project implemented by Chemonics. Ms. Javed holds a MA in Environmental Resource Policy from the George Washington University and a BBA in Finance and Environmental Policy from Lahore School of Economics in Pakistan.
