Biography
I use sensor networks & other technologies to advance ecological field research in semi-arid ecosystems. My ongoing professional projects include systems/network administration, design & maintenance of large-scale wireless data acquisition networks, & instrumentation of long-term climate change manipulation experiments. My dissertation focuses on the temporal effects of rainfall pulses on ANPP/BNPP, biogeochemical cycles, & microbial community composition in a Chihuahuan Desert grassland.
