Biography
Scott is a physiological ecologist investigating the effect of urban areas on the breeding cycles of birds. His work dovetails morphological, histological, and physiological approaches in both the field and the laboratory to better understand the proximate mechanisms underlying why urban bird populations consistently begin seasonal breeding earlier than their non-urban conspecifics.
