Biography
Sharon J. Hall is an ecosystem scientist who explores the ecology of native and managed ecosystems that sustain people and other organisms within the community of life.
To achieve these goals, Hall and her research team broadly focus on understanding the ecological feedbacks between people and the environment. For example, her team is exploring the distribution of wildlife communities in urbanizing landscapes; the effects of air pollution and species invasions on soils and plant communities in human dominated landscapes; and the ecology of privately managed residential yards.
