Biography

Mr. Albinson is Founder and Managing Partner with Emergent Capital Partners, a Southeast Asia-focused real estate private equity firm. Mr. Albinson has been an active emerging market real estate investor for over fifteen years with a specific focus on Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia.

Mr. Albinson is also the Founder, Chairman and former CEO of Aravo Solutions, a cloud-based software company focused on enterprise risk management, compliance, and sustainability. While at Aravo, Mr. Albinson raised over $50 million in financing and served the needs of global clients including GE, DuPont, Cisco, Unilever, P&G, Google, Nike, Ford and Pfizer.

Previously, Mr. Albinson worked as an investment banker in New York with Goldman Sachs as a member of the Institutional Client Services group.

Mr. Albinson has been an advocate for environmental conservation and sustainability for over three decades, and has worked with organizations including World Wildlife Fund, The Nature Conservancy, American Forests, and Fundación Natura, Ecuador’s leading conservation organization.

Mr. Albinson holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley, where he was a Walter A. Haas Scholar. He also holds a B.A in English Literature from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He serves on numerous private company and nonprofit boards.
