Biography
A. Joseph Tamer has made a career at the crossroads of environmental science, education, and technology. His early career focused on environmental systems for NASA within the field of Astrobiology. These interests found their way into the classroom as Joe served for more than a decade a classroom teacher, school administrator, and educational technology consultant. At ASU he has utilized his project management experience as the Assistant Director of the Center for Education Through eXploration (the ETX Center) and as the program manager for PlanetWorks. Joe has a B.S in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Rochester, M.S in Molecular Biology from Renssalear Polytechnic Institute and a M. Ed in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology from SUNY Albany.
