Biography

Francesco Testa is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Management, Sustainability Management area. He has specialized in exploring the relationship between business and natural environment and social issues and understanding how businesses and policymakers can overcome potential trade-offs for addressing a transition towards a more sustainable economy. He is a lecturer in Sustainability Management, Circular Economy, and Research Methodologies at the international Ph.D. in Management (Innovation, Sustainability, and Healthcare), at the Master of Science in Innovation Management, and Executive Master in Circular Economy held at Sant’Anna School. He has been working on many pilot projects promoted by the European Commission in the field of eco-innovation, circular economy, sustainable product policy, and analysis of the relationship between sustainability management, resource efficiency, and competitiveness. He has authored more than 70 articles, books, and book chapters on those topics; most of them are articles in international peer-reviewed journals such as Business Strategy and Environment, Organization & Environment, Journal of Environmental Management, Journal of Cleaner Production.
