Biography
Takuro Miyamoto is an associate professor of environmental economics in the Faculty of Economics at Tohoku Gakuin University. His research interests include the political economy of environmental policy and voluntary approaches to environmental protection. Miyamoto’s research is published in journals that include Environmental Economics and Policy Studies, Resource and Energy Economics, International Journal of Ecological Economics and Statistics, among others. He was previously an assistant professor at Waseda University in the Faculty of Political Science and Economics at Waseda University and an economist in Japan’s Ministry of Finance.
