Biography
Toshi H. Arimura is a professor of environmental economics in the Faculty of Political Science and Economics at Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan. He also serves as the director of the Research Institute for Environmental Economics and Management at Waseda University. His research interests encompass climate change policies, voluntary corporate environmental actions, air pollution issues, and the innovation of environmental technology. His recent publications include his co-authored book, An Evaluation of Japanese Environmental Regulation: A Quantitative Approach from Environmental Economics from Springer, and the co-edited book, Carbon Pricing in Japan from Springer. He is on the editorial boards of several international academic journals, including the Review of Environmental Economics and Policy, Organization & Environment, and Environmental Economics and Policy Studies. He has served on a number of Japanese government committees on environmental issues.
