Biography
Jessica joined the Rob and Melani Walton Sustainability Solutions Initiatives for the Global Sustainability Solutions Service in July 2013. She is a project manager and in this role, she works closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders to define project scope, strategy, budget and outcomes, identifies critical resource expertise and targets appropriate internal and/or external sources to ensure optimal outcomes. During her time with the Solutions Service, Jessica helped to create more than 28 government grant submissions, five of which have been awarded a total of $4,561,471.
Prior to joining the Walton Initiatives, Jessica was a program manager at the ASU Venture Catalyst, located at ASU SkySong. Jessica’s role included developing complex budgets and proposals, managing contracts, planning investor focused conferences, managing the online mentoring program, planning and hosting workshops focused on entrepreneurial training and SBIR/STTR grant writing. She was also the interim manager of the Edson Entrepreneurship Program, focused on student startups.
Jessica holds a BS in International Business from Arizona State University.
