Arizona State University’s Global Institute of Sustainability and Innovation

The Global Institute of Sustainability and Innovation is the hub of Arizona State University’s sustainability initiatives. The institute, housed within the ASU Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory, advances research, education and business practices for an urbanizing world. Its School of Sustainability, the first of its kind in the U.S., offers transdisciplinary degree programs focused on finding practical solutions to social, economic and environmental challenges.

Vital Voices

Vital Voices works with women leaders with a daring vision for change. One of the ways they accomplish this is through their signature programs in economic empowerment, political leadership, leadership development and protecting human rights. Vital Voices searches the world for women leaders and partners with them to make that vision a reality. Through long-term investments that expand her skills, connections and visibility, Vital Voices accelerates her efforts, improving the world for us all.

Hawaii Tropical Bioreserve & Garden

The Hawaii Tropical Bioreserve & Garden is a 40 acre valley nestled in Onomea Bay, Hawaii. The Garden’s mission is to serve as a nature preserve and sanctuary, a living seed bank, and a study center for trees and plants of the tropical world. The Garden is dedicated to the collection and display of the world’s tropical plants, and to the education of both children and adults about the plight of the world’s rainforests. At a time when rainforest plants are disappearing at an alarming rate, the Garden is working to preserve as many species as possible for the benefit of future generations.
