Biography

Emily Holleran is a college sustainability and environmental management instructor who focuses on the system elements of sustainability. She has a graduate degree in sustainability from Harvard University and has been awarded two graduate certificates within the field. Emily’s research interests include sustainable food systems, agroecology, and economically evaluating environmental amenities. She has advised for several organizations within the global food system and has served as the Vice-chair of a local food policy network. Prior to her graduate work, she worked as a supply chain management consultant for nine years, which gave her the foundation on which to understand and effectively apply systems thinking in a variety of settings.
