Conservation Innovation Lab Alumni, José D. Anadón visits ASU to discuss the decline of hunting in post-rural societies
José D. Anadón is an ecologist researching the impact of global change on the distribution of biodiversity and ecological processes. At present, he is a tenured researcher at the Pyrenean Institute of Ecology (Spain). Previously he has been an Assistant Professor at the City University of New York (2014-2019) and a researcher at Arizona State University (2010-2013). José visited as a guest lecturer and presented an overview of current trends of rural abandonment, data on the decline of hunting in southern Europe (and other parts of the world), and discussed the consequences of those declines.
