With rising excitement about leveraging computing technologies to mitigate the pandemic, governments must take note that both the issues and opportunities for helping with the pandemic are complex. In a global fight to stem the rise of health issues, privacy and ethical concerns must be considered as we attempt to use data responsibly.

The panel will discuss the responsible use of technology -- and the data it gathers -- with a focus on issues that arise in the face of a pandemic where technology deployments are being advanced as one of the means to tackle this public-health crisis.
