Free Film Screening: Trashed
The award-winning film Trashed sets out to discover the extent and effects of the global waste problem. Each year, we throw away 58 billion disposable cups, billions of plastic bags, 200 billion litres of water bottles, billions of tons of household waste, toxic waste, and e-waste. Filmmaker Candida Brady, along with actor Jeremy Irons, travel around the world to beautiful destinations tainted by trash, in search of solutions to the pressing environmental problems facing us all.
