The 9-12 grade five-day immersion program took place March 13 - March 17, 2023. GirlsConserve participants visited Papago Park, the Desert Botanical Garden, Superstition Mountains, the Center for Gender Equity and in Science and Technology (CGEST), and CBO on the ASU Tempe campus. Participants engaged in various activities and lessons emphasizing topics in environmental quality, environmental justice, and the interaction between environmental health and public health.
