In 2008 a dedicated group of community volunteers planted seeds for neighborhood revitalization through urban agriculture and the arts. Through continued hard work and care, a barren corner in downtown Phoenix blossomed into the Roosevelt Growhouse, a beloved community urban farm, shop, and gathering place. In this talk, you will learn about how a community of volunteers planted seeds for neighborhood revitalization through urban agriculture and the arts.
Following the talk, there will be a tour on Saturday, September 30. Please RSVP separately for the tour here.
