About our panelists
- Edella Schlager is a Professor and the Director of the School of Government & Public Policy at The University of Arizona. Her research focuses on comparative institutional analyses of water laws, policies, property rights, and compacts in the western US.
- Marco Janssen is a Professor in the School of Sustainability and Director of the Center for Behavior, Institutions and the Environment at Arizona State University. His research seeks to understand how collective action problems can be addressed in coupled infrastructure systems, such as those which produce nutritious food, clean water and reliable clean energy, while enhancing the robustness to external challenges such as globalization and climate change.
- Marty Anderies is a Professor in the School of Sustainability and Associate Director of the Center for Behavior, Institutions and the Environment at Arizona State University. His research focuses on how ecological, social, and institutional factors affect the robustness of social-ecological systems.
