Joyce Coffee is a Wrigley Institute Senior Sustainability Fellow and member of ASU's UREx Sustainable Research Network. She works with leaders to create strategies that protect and enhance markets and livelihoods through adaptation to climate change. Previously she led the Chicago Climate Action Plan and Notre Dame's Global Adaptation Initiative.
In this talk, Joyce Coffee will discuss urban trends in mitigating climate risk. There is growing investor interest in the physical risks of climate change. Even with uncertainties, cities could benefit from a new era of policy and market engagement to improve safety, stability, and livelihoods.
