Join us during this Lunch-and-Learn as the SOS 498 Energy Efficiency at ASU class presents the final results of this innovative study, looking at plug-load energy usage in Wrigley Hall and the Student Services Building, using GOEFER innovative technology that analyzes energy use of electronics. The students will detail the purpose of the study, some of the findings from the study, and future steps.
Did you know that plugged-in appliances and technology consume 30-60% of a building's energy? GOEFER uses their IoT (internet of things) micro smart-metered powerstrips to collect the energy data, and to control the connected appliances independently and uniquely to each user. Everyone uses their appliances and technology differently, making a "one-size fits all" energy management solution impossible to implement and save energy with. GOEFER's energy analytics and machine learning software empower our customers to learn and save with every plug.
