The Paris Accords taught us that the fight against climate change can be won when the world community commits to supporting local efforts. At the same time as the national climate ambition in the US is faltering, cities and states are gearing up efforts and ambitions to mitigate climate change and decarbonize the economy. In this talk, German practitioners share best practices in taking steps toward becoming Post-Carbon Cities of Tomorrow.
Max Gruenig, president of the Ecologic Institute, will moderate the discussion.
German breakfast pastries will be served.
We are also assisting the GPSA, USG, Council of Presidents, Aramark, Changemaker, and Sun Devil Fitness in collecting donations of school supplies and diapers for Hurricane Harvey relief. Please consider a donation.
This event is co-sponsored by Citizens Climate Lobby.
