Recycling Realities:
ASU's Quest for Zero Solid Waste

Dawn Ratcliffe

  • Past ASU Recycling Coordinator

Alana Levine

  • ASU Recycling Program Manager

For the last 16 years, Dawn Ratcliffe has worked and volunteered in the sustainability and animal-advocacy fields. She has organized several Earth Day events, recycling events, and nonprofit fundraisers. She has also promoted veganism via tabling, leafleting, speaking engagements, and restaurant outreach. This will be Dawn's last ASU recycling talk. We will celebrate her work in launching the redesigned ASU Recycling Program.

Alana Levine has over 18 years of experience in environmental activism and recycling. She has run recycling and solid waste programs for The University of Arizona, MIT in Cambridge, and now for ASU. This will be Alana's first ASU talk. She will be welcomed into her new role to move ASU's Recycling Program to its next level.

This talk will celebrate ASU's accomplishments and conjure the future of ASU's recycling.
