Rescued Food Feast

Approximately 40% of the food supply is wasted in the US; that’s about 20 pounds of food per person per month! At ASU, we are doing our part to fight food waste by feeding over 500 students, faculty and staff with a meal made from nutritious food that would otherwise be discarded for cosmetic reasons. Join us as we gather around a community table for a meal prepared by the talented staff of Engrained Café and featuring food donated by our event sponsor, Sprouts Farmers Market.

Bring your reusable mug or bottle and receive a reward from Zero Waste @ ASU (while supplies last). Please bring a canned-food donation to benefit our event partner, St. Mary’s Food Bank. Join us for this free feast and exhibition showcasing the positive impact of food systems education, research and partnerships across ASU and in our communities.

Please arrive early, as meals are limited to the first 500 people.
