School of Earth and Space Exploration's ASU-led NASA Psyche Mission Launch Party
The much-anticipated ASU-led NASA Psyche launch is targeted for October 12 from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida to a unique metal-rich asteroid of the same name. Onboard a Falcon Heavy rocket, the Psyche spacecraft will launch from Launch Complex 39A. Come watch from the Marston Exploration Theater as we’ll be cheering the launch with thousands of fans from all over the country. Launch details: currently targeted for no earlier than Oct. 12 at 7:16 a.m. AZ/10:16 a.m. EDT (an instantaneous launch).
