Graduate Workshop: Science in Policy and Programs
Explore ways in which scientific research results can be used to inform government policy and programs. Perspectives from scientists working with government agencies and legislative offices (primarily at the state level) will be presented. Participants will engage in hands-on exercises to explore the challenges and opportunities in applying results from their research area to public initiatives.
