School of Sustainability Open House and Student Project Showcase

Join us as Wrigley Hall opens its doors for a showcase of learning.

Learn more about opportunities to get involved, and connect to community partners through engagement with School of Sustainability students and faculty as they share their experiences. Events will include a poster session, video presentations, the Conversation to Action Lunch Series, and open class presentations where School of Sustainability students and faculty will present the results of their community-based projects as you enjoy refreshments throughout the day.

Graduate Project and Research Presentations
Enjoy morning refreshments as graduate students present their culminating projects in 15 minute presentations.

Sustainable Cities Network’s Best Practices & Greenbuilding Workgroup Meeting and Presentation: Sustainable Neighborhoods for Happiness
Sustainable Neighborhoods for Happiness - Spring 2015, will be presenting “Sustainable Neighborhood Happiness: Learning Through Community Collaboration.” This three to five year project aims to implement sustainable solutions at the neighborhood level to facilitate wellbeing and engages graduate and undergraduate students in experiential learning.

Class Drop-In: Sustainable Development in Action, Prof. Rimjhim Aggarwal
This workshop focuses on examining the impact of droughts on the agricultural system in central Arizona and exploring innovative adaptation pathways, in collaboration with local farmers, irrigation district managers in the Phoenix metro area.
