Sustainability Storytelling: Short Documentaries from Peter Byck’s Class: 10th Edition
Join us for the annual screening of two short films created by students from the School of Sustainability and Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, under the direction of sustainability scientist and director of Carbon Nation, Peter Byck.
This year's films:
Sleeping Giant: An endangered gem protected by a sleeping giant lies in Black Canyon City. Residents are dedicated to its preservation and maintenance.
Concrete Change: How thousands of tons of concrete changed the Colorado River forever, and a look forward at how the next generation can preserve one of the natural wonders of the world.
A light breakfast will be served.
