The 19th News Event on Climate Change, Sustainability and Solutions
Climate change is the urgent issue of our time. It’s going to take bold leadership, an informed and public and inspired solutions to confront the crisis and curb its effects. The 19th News is headed to Arizona this fall for a dynamic live event to address the threat of climate change and explore ambitious sustainability solutions. The program will feature women, especially women of color, and LGBTQ+ leaders. We’ll talk to leaders at the national level and in the Southwest about their work to protect their communities from the impact of climate change like extreme weather and diminishing resources. The fast-paced program will run about 90 minutes over an afternoon and will include a keynote interview, panel conversations and a performance. Then we’ll invite attendees to a reception featuring a fresh take on networking by hosting casual table talks where attendees can connect with industry leaders working to address climate change from the fields of journalism, entertainment, technology, academia and advocacy.
